Treat Tuesday: Delicious Dress!

 

Our Bride knew exactly what she wanted her wedding cake to look like. The cake designer was extremely detailed and followed the photos she was given incredibly! The bride had seen a similar cake in a wedding magazine, and wanted to use the same idea for hers...the cake was an exact replica of her wedding gown! The cake designer did a great job with all of the small details, such as the ruffles, swags and rhinestone brooches. It was also the Bride's birthday, so her family surprised her with a smaller cake in the couple's colors, blue and white, and all of the guests sang "Happy Birthday!"

Floral Friday: Something Blue

This Bride had a passion for the color blue. The Bridesmaids dresses were blue, the centerpieces were blue, and even her shoes were blue! This beautiful bouquet from Windermere Flowers & Gifts featured soft white roses accented with beautiful blue hydrangea and tied with a white sheer ribbon. This bouquet was simple and pretty, with just a little "something blue!"

Floral Friday: Lavender Love

 

Rachel and Matthew filled their November wedding with touches of lavender and purple.  Lavender roses made up the Bride's bouquet, the Groom's boutonniere, and the Bride's hair accessory. Their ceremony aisle was lined in lavender rose petals. The ballroom featured tall and low centerpieces made up of lavender, pink and white roses accented with glowing candles, and the pewter textured walls were all uplight in purple lighting. Treat Tuesday: Black Magic Cake

This was one of our couples' unique cakes, which tied in with their wedding colors of red, black and silver. The cake was red velvet with a cream cheese filling. Two layers were covered in black fondant, the other two layers were covered in white fondant with hand-piped black detailing. This beautiful cake was topped with an arrangement of Black Magic Roses, which were also found in the Bride's bouquet and table centerpieces.
